Brazil
Brazil has a reputation of having the most creative advertisments, internationally. Like the UK, Brazilian advertising focuses on entertainment and humor. Their ads like to address the audience in an informal manner, which fit with their culture. This approach displays postitive response to the ads and engages them in a more personal level. Since most foreign owners cannot understand the language, humor, and style of Brazilian ads, they are more dependent on visual communication, most of which are displayed at soccer games and carnivals. Brazilian ads are very open, in which their ads depicts sexuality with nude bodies, sensual clothing, and overt expressions of sex. Similar to American ads, most of the bodies on the ads are female, but there are also males as well. Brazilians despise having violence and corruption in their advertisements, but they don't mind having ads expressing alternatives and aspirations to those problems.
The example provided below is the Dove-Men-Care commercial. The first commercial is from Brazil, which contains humor, making fun of women's shampoo commercials in a way. It is also entertaining to watch and corporates "sexy" in it. The second commercial is from US and displays the same factors I mentioned before.
